The Countdown Continues
I have been counting down the days until I go on the airplane, I think it's 17 more days, and I am so excited to take a little break away from school, but I'm also a little sad to be going away from my friends and family but I'll hopefully talk to you guys.
Here is some information about Australia (I'll write some another time about New Zealand). Australia is located below the equator in the Southern Hemisphere. To the east is the Pacific Ocean, and to the west is the Indian Ocean. They play a lot of sports similar to ours, but also some that are different. Similar ones include soccer, rugby, tennis and golf. Different sports are Aussie Rules Football, cricket and surfing. Some of their famous landmarks include the Sydney Opera House, the Twelve Apostles, Ayers Rock (Uluru) and The Great Barrier Reef. In my next post, I'll write about some of their cool animals.
